Ginger Bread Houses

Every year we decorate ginger bread houses. The boys love it!!! This year it was so fun because the boys could actually decorate them by themselves. They had so much fun & got so creative with them. I love that my boys are growing up. I just wish it would not happen so fast!

I am lazy & just use graham crackers!

The work in progress!

I love how different they all are even though we used the same stuff to decorate.

I think it is great that Parker put Lego guys & super hero guys on his:)

I even got to make one of my own this year!

Temple Square Lights

Every year we look forward to going up to Salt Lake to Temple Square to see the lights. This year the boys were extra excited since the same day we were headed up there. Aunt Angie flew in from California and we meet her at the boys favorite place to eat and then her and Grandma Kathy went to see the lights with us. I was very excited to go this year. It is the first year we did not take a stroller and have to worry about a little baby being cold, wet, or hungry. I think this is the first year I really enjoyed the lights and everything. The boys were well behaved and all in all it was a great night!

We rode the "train" from the restruant to Temple Square

Hanging out getting warm inside the vistors center

Fun family photos from the night!

Preston's 7th Birthday

My little man Preston turned 7 just a few days back. 7 years old are you kidding me? I swear it was last month that he was just my tiny little 5lb baby that we brought home from the hospital. Now he is 7!!! He is an awesome 7 year old at that. We could never imagine life without Preston. He is always a good source of entertainment. I love you buddy. This year for his Birthday he just wanted to have a family party at "Pirate Pizza Island". So that is what we did. Then after we came back to our house and had cake and ice cream. He was so excited because he got thirty dollars between different family members. He says he is saving it for something big. He does not know what that is at this time but I am sure when he thinks of something it will be great! I hope you had a great Birthday Preston!

First Snow

We had this awesome first snow back in November. It made me so excited to think it was the first of so many to come. That we might have a long white winter. Oh what could be better? But yet that has been the only one so far. I so hope for much more snow and soon. I love that in Utah you get all 4 seasons. I love things about each season and about how we are so lucky to enjoy them. The boys were so excited to go out and play in the snow. It kills me how long it takes to get them all dressed up and then within a few minutes they are back in the house. Because they fell or someone threw snow at them, or they are just done being outside. But I guess for the few minutes of joy it brings them it is so worth it!

Thanksgiving Parade

My boys always look forward to going to the Provo City parade the day after Thanksgiving. Even though it is usually freezing and I am so tired from the early morning shopping. It is a must. There is never a huge crowd, they pass out a lot of candy, and at the end they get to see Santa. What could be better when you are a little kid? So we once again set off to see it. This year it was so, so very cold. It was hard to stick it out to the end. But we made and it, & yet again the boys had a great time hanging out with there cousins. Thanks everyone for coming with us.

Christmas Concert

At the Elementary school were the boys go they have a choir that the 5th & 6th graders are in. During Christmas they always have a few performances. This year they were part of the Orem City turning on the lights ceremony. The kids sang a few songs then the turned on the lights. I love that they get to be a part of things like this. They always have cute songs to sing and I think it is so good for the kids.

Kangaroo Zoo

For my Nephew's Birthday he invited the boys to go with him to Kangaroo Zoo. The boys love places like this & they had a lot of fun:) I love how close my kids are with there cousins and how much fun they have together! I got a few pictures of them. But for the most part they were to busy to stop for the camera. So I do not even have one of McKay.

P.S. This is my 200th post! I never thought I would ever have so much to write about!
