Snowed In

It is so awesome outside! I love it!!! It reminds me of when I was little it use to snow like this all the time. Nothing was better then playing in the snow during Christmas break. After shovelling our way out of our driveway twice we were able to make it to my sisters to do our annual cookie decorating. Then we get to take home all the cookies we have decorated. They are the best!!!

After we made it home! Which seemed to take forever with how crazy the roads are. We decided to make snowflakes. The boys had a lot of fun making them. It was a little messy but our front window looks way cool now! Good job boys on the really neat snow flakes!!

Last but not least look at my way cute little snow bunny! I love this kid!!!

They are all loving the snow! Thanks to dad they even got to ride the sled around the yard a few times!

Preston Turns 5!!!

So my sweet little Preston turned 5 yesterday! I cannot believe it. I swear he was just born a few months ago! He is such an awesome kid. He always can make us laugh and he is so athletic and very smart. Things come so easy to him. He loves to eat and is always up to trying new foods. We love going out to eat with him. He wishes he was 9, you ask him who his friends are and he names all of McKay's friends. He loves his big brother so much and wants to do everything he is does. He cannot wait for school next year. We had a lot of fun for his birthday. We went out to Springville to Jumping Jacks. It has about 10 big blow up things to play and slide on. It is way fun. I of course forgot my camera so I have to wait and get some pictures from my Mom-In-Law. I will post them later. Then we came back home for cake, & presents. Happy Birthday Preston!!! We love you!!!

O' Christmas Tree, O' Christmas Tree

On Sunday we set our Christmas tree. We like to wait until the weekend after Thanksgiving. This year I am debating if I should just take it down before it falls downs. Between the cats and the boys I will be in shock if it last until Christmas. They are all so excited about everything Christmas. It will be so fun Christmas morning with my little family! I cannot wait! 22 days!!!

It is not much, but it is ours and we love it. I have to put it in a corner because we do not have enough things to decorate the whole tree. Most of the stuff on it is things the boys have made or family has made. Hope everyone has a great Holiday season!!!

Thanksgiving #2

This year for Thanksgiving we had dinner at my Moms house. It was amazing as always. I could never imagine Thanksgiving any other way. It was a little different this year though. My little family was the only local people at dinner. My sister Kathy went to New Mexico & my brother Jason was at his I in-laws for dinner. But my brother Mark and his family came down from Montana. Then my SIL Delora and her 3 youngest came down from Idaho. So it was a lot of fun. Lots of crazy little kids running around causing lots of trouble. My boys love hanging out with there cousins. They all get along so well and always have so much fun together. I must have been to busy eating because I only got 2 pictures.

So after lots of food & a little sleep it was time to shop! I go every year on "Black Friday" with my In-Laws and this year was no exception. We got some killer deals and had a lot of fun! We even braved Wal-Mart along with a lot of other stores.
Then Saturday we took the kids swimming. They all had fun except for Parker who did a lot of crying. I of course forgot my camera. But maybe next time. It was great to have Korey have no work for so many days and to spend so much time with family. I am so thankful for all of my family! I would not trade them for anything.

Thanksgiving #1

Last Sunday we had "Thanksgiving" dinner with Korey's family. My SIL Melissa made a great turkey dinner with all the fixings. It is always fun to get together with family. We even got a chance to play a few games. It seems to be so hard to play games when all the kids are running around like wild indians. But they are finnally getting old enough that we can start playing games again. Then we ended the night with some yummy pie. I love any excuse to eat a lot of food!

Meet Shelly

So once again we have added yet another pet to our sweet little family. This is Shelly the Turtle. She once belonged to my nephew Kyle. I got her for him about 10 years ago. When I was in Idaho. But He has now decided he does not have time to take care of her because of his busy teenage social life. So my sweet husband decided she would be a great addition to our family. I guess every time Korey takes Parker to the pet store he loves to sit and watch the turtles. Which is why we needed one. To bad he is to little to take care of his pet. So I guess we have now got something to pass on to our grandchildren someday!

McKay's Dino

So Last week at school McKay's class did some really neat dinosaurs. They have been learning about dinosaurs all month and to end the lesson Mrs.Louder had the kids make there own. It was a huge project for the kids and so much fun. I was lucky enough to be able to go in to his class and help with the process. It took 4 days of school. Then when they were all done they had a museum in there class. The different classes in the school where able to come and walk through the "museum" and parents were welcome too. His teacher is so neat. McKay is learning so much and having so much fun. Your dinosaur looks great McKay good job son!!!

Free Book!

So today on Oprah she had a great giveaway for anyone who was watching her show. So I thought I would pass on the great gift. It is only good for 48 hours so I guess as of Friday at 4pm this will no longer be good. But if you go here then there is information on how to get a free book from snapfish. You download the pictures and you put together a story or whatever text you want. Then they put it together into a hard back book. Then ship it out to you. They are usually around $40. It would make a great gift for grandparents or for yourself. So I guess you cannot beat free. Have fun with it!

Halloween

The day started out a little rough Parker was not feeling well so we took him to the Dr. first thing. Of course nothing, just a fever of 103 on Motrin. Then My "SIL" Molly and I took the kids down to my Dads for a quick visit. After we got home we had a fast lunch and we were off to McKay's school for there annual Halloween parade. Then my sweet Mother took the 3 little boys home for naps while I stayed and helped with McKay's class party. Right after school Angie came over, and Korey came home and we all went down to visit Aunt Nedra. Which is always yummy and fun! We came home just in time to meet my sisters family at our house for a warm bowl of stew. Then it was off for the night. The boys had fun costumes this year. They were really into the whole Halloween spirit.

The boys with Aunt Angie. Except Parker he was not a fan of th costume thing.

We had a good group this year and it was so fun to watch them have so much fun. It is always better to have a group to hang out with. McKay got Evan to come with us. We even got Aunt Angie to come, and the boys cousin Cameron. They are always so good to help us out.

Parker caught on really fast about what all the kids where getting when they were going up to the houses and he did not want to get left out of any kind of candy. He was so funny. He would only pick out suckers, and then he would start to eat it. Then when we got to the next house he would try to trade the people his sucked on sucker for new ones. He is not dumb that is for sure.

We ended our night at Grandma Kathy's to hang out with some more cousins for a awhile! They look so cute all together.

Here the boys are with there "LOAD" if anyone wants any candy I think we have enough to share!

Hope you all had a great Halloween!!!

Pumpkin Carving!

So once a month my family gets together and we have FHE. It always seems like my brother Jason gets to host it in October. So we got together and had dinner then we carved pumpkins. It was nice to have the mess happen somewhere eles. The boys where so excited. They had gone with Korey to go and pick out pumpkins while I was at work Saturday. They picked out huge pumpkins. I have to say I was a little worried when I saw how big they where. But they were not to messy inside.

So here they are working so hard I helped Ryan, while Korey helped Preston, and my nephew Cameron helped McKay. My brother Jason and his daughter did theres together, and even Parker got in on the action.

McKay's Pumpkin

At McKay's school they have a pumpkin contest. The kids are only able to decorate or paint there pumpkins. No carving. McKay did his this year all by himself. We found this fun idea online. I thought it was really cool! Good Job McKay!!!

Family Pictures

So over the weekend we had family photos done by Jessie O'Neal she is awesome! You should check out her
blog, She does such a great job. She is just starting out so she is actually affordable. We could not be happier with them. Now we just have to choose between them all. Which is seeming harder than we thought. So we want everyone to help us out and tell us one which you like the most. Thanks! Also thank you to Jessie for putting up with us for awhile. I know my boys can be pretty crazy at times. You were great to just keep shooting pictures. We love them!

This is one Korey likes. I promised him I would post it. I am not sure if I love it or not.

These pictures are just some cute ones of the boys together.

This is just one I had to throw in to have proof that Ryan actually looked at the camera one time. When he does the picture turns out priceless. I may have to replace the picture we had done for his 3 year old one with this one.

These are Parker's picture I never got his one year picture done. I just do not know which one to choose they are all cute and show such different sides of him.

This is Preston. We decided since his birthday is in 6 weeks we would just do his birthday pictures now. He is so photogenic it was hard for us to narrow it down to 2 pictures.
