My Little Artist

So when school started I started to watch my Niece's again. Macy and Ryan are getting along so well and have so much fun together. It is nice to have someone for Ryan to play with. My brother and his wife have also entrusted me to watch my sweet little niece Alice. She is such a good baby. She sleeps really good and the rest of the time she just likes to hang out and watch the crazy things that go on in my house. I even got her to laugh at me for a few minutes the other day. My brother says she does not even do that for him. So I know that she loves me. So the other day the kids decided they wanted to paint it was fun to watch them be so creative. They love doing art & craft projects. I need to stop stressing over the house things more often and let them just have fun!!!

Finally!!!

So we are so happy to announce that are little man Parker is a walker (not a walker as in a child of Misty Walker). We knew he had it in him. We think he has known for a while but did not want to show us that he could. But finally this past week he decided to do it. Now there is no stopping him. If he falls he just gets back up and keeps going. He is a little tipsy but getting really good. We are so proud of him. I think he is happier too. Now he can get to us a lot faster so he does not feel like he is getting left out of anything. Way to go Parker!!!

SOUPER SATURDAY!!!

First of all a big Thank You to Kim & Brooke for letting me steal all of there great crafty ideas. Second I wanted to let all of my fellow bloggers, friends, whoever know that we (the 3rd ward) are doing a Souper Saturday on October 11th from 9am-2pm. If anyone wants to come and do some way cute crafts. Let me know. I am in charge of it, and I like to think I stole some really cute ideas from people. So if you want to know what we are doing get in touch with me and I will show what we are doing. Hope everyone is well.

P.S. You can't do a POST without a picture. So here is just a fun picture from when we were camping this summer.

McKay's First Day Of School

McKay started his first day of 4th grade on Monday. So far so good. His teacher seems really great. The first week he says went really good and that he liked everything so far. He is happy of course since Evan is in his class. They have been really luckily some how him and Evan have been in the same class since kindergarten. Good luck to his teacher with that.

Camping With The Larsen's

The weekend before school started we went camping with Koreys family. We had so much fun. The boys love hanging out with there cousins. The thought of 2 nights and 3 days of non-stop cousins was so cool to them. We went up to Strawberry. Shane, Korey's little brother was going up for the bow hunt. That weekend was the start of it. We just hung out and ate and let the kids run around all crazy. We went down to the dock and went crawdad fishing. It is so funny how much they love to do that we filled up this big bucket we had. Let them go. Then caught a whole other bucket full. They thought it was the greatest thing ever. Then later that day we went down to the dam were the Strawberry River is and hiked around and playd in the water. It was a lot of fun. The kids got a long great so it made it even better. We need to do more things like that with Koreys family. They are always fun to hang out with.

Dinosaur Mesuem

We did it! We finally got into the museum at Thanksgiving Point on a Tuesday. It was actually not that bad. Since we only had to pay 2 bucks to get in. It was worth the crowd of crazy people trying to get a great deal. The kids had a lot of fun. It does not matter how many times we go they always have fun. They also love any excuse to hang out with there cousins. I do have to say that I think my favorite part of the event was going to JCW for dinner after. I was so excited to learn that they have another one. If you have never been I highly recommend going. Nothing is better than eating a hamburger, and fries and feeling the fat go on your hips as you are eating. YUMMY!!! Oh yes and they have the biggest and best shakes.

7 PEAKS

So the Tuesday before school started we went to 7 peaks. We were even able to get Korey to take the day off to come and play. My sister and nephew Cameron came. My brother Jason and his family. Misty and her kids. Dolly and her kids came too. Even my Mom showed up too for a little bit. It was a lot of fun. We set up a canopy and just hung out for the whole day. The boys had so much fun. They are so brave when it comes to things like that. They loved the kid pools, kid slides, lazy river, wave pool. Preston was way awesome. He loved the rope swing. He would kind of hold on to the rope and then jump. Nothing to fancy but hey he is only 4 and that water was so cold. Then he swam to us at the side. We are so proud of our tough kid. My husband is so awesome. I had to leave around 4 to go to work. So I took the baby to my Mom-in-laws and he stayed with the boys for a while longer. Then he took the boys all by himself to a restaurant. Including the baby. It was Alyssa's birthday, So his whole family went to eat to celebrate. He is so awesome with the kids. He seems to handle them a lot better than I do. Way to go HONEY!!! We had a lot of fun we are even thinking about getting passes for next year!

Temple Picture!!!

So my sweet husband and I were married a short 6 years ago. In the beautiful Mt. Timpanogas Temple. I know only 6 years and we have 4 kids! Wow we work fast. Ever since then I have been trying to find a picture of the Timpanogas Temple that I love. Back in December I found one but of course it was $400.00. The day we have that much money to drop on a picture. So A few weeks ago Andrea from the 1st ward called me. Wondering if I could work a few shifts at Costco for the people who did the picture that I love. She has you work the show and then your pay goes towards the picture. Plus she gives you a great deal on them. With the support of my sweet husband I am able to get away from are crazy house to have a little adult time. Plus in the end I get an amazing picture. I am so excited I cannot wait for it. I have a bare wall just waiting for it.

2 Dollar Tusdays!

The whole month of August at Thanksgiving Point they are doing 2 dollar Tuesday where you only have to pay two bucks for any activity. Which there that is a great deal. So I took the boys hoping to go to the dinosaur museum. But of course the line was huge. It wrapped around the outside of the building. Crazy! So to Preston's disappointment we went to the farm and the children's garden. We will have to try next week and get there early. Wish us luck. But after we went on the pony ride they did ave start having fun. Then of course they loved fountains at the garden and the caves. Parker was so cute when he saw the animals. He would get so mad when we would walk away until we got to the next animal. He is going love the fair.

Fruits Of Our Labor

We have success!!! We are very excited we decided to do a garden this year. To are surprise we actually got vegetables from it. We are going to have a lot of vegetables from it. We started it a little late and did not know what was going to happen with it. Than even later I put in some more starts and there is even veggies on those. We did not make it to large. Just enough for us to keep up with it. Only stuff we like too.

Camping & Fishing

Over the past weekend we went camping up at Strawberry. We had a lot of fun. We went with my Mom & Jon, and the Rutland family. My boys love being outside and getting dirty. They were very excited to get to go fishing on Grandpa Jon's boat. We did not get up there until later Thursday night and we had plans to stay there until Sunday. But Parker was not feeling well on Saturday. So we left a little early. But the time we were there was fun. Friday morning the boys all got a chance to get out on the boat and do a little fishing. McKay caught 2 fish(He takes after his Mom on his great fishing skills). I was so proud! Preston and Ryan were just happy to put there new poles in the water, and to be on the boat. Later that day we took a ride in the back of the truck up to the Beaver Dams. On the way back we stopped and got ice cream. We had a great dutch oven roast and peach cobbler that night. Food is always so good when you are camping. After dinner we went down to the dock to catch some crawdads. While we were down there on the other side of the boat ramp a boat blew up. I am not joking 20 feet away a boat blew up. It was something straight out of a movie. Crazy times! The guy on the boat was OK but not his boat. The boys loved catching the crawdads. We had a lot fun. We hope we get to go at least one more time before it gets to cold. Thanks everyone for letting us come we had so much fun. We have to do it again!
