The Big "30"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Korey!!!
So today is my sweet husbands 30th birthday! He is a little upset about the whole thing. I personally could no be happier. I am OK with being older then him. But it was a little hard having him be in his twenties while I was thirty one.
On Wednesday's he works from 8am-10pm. At two different jobs. So we do not see him all day. Being the workaholic that he is he still worked today even though it is his B-Day. The boys and I felt bad that he was working all day. So we wanted him to know that we were thinking of him. We decided to go after music time to decorate his car and office. We put 30 big balloons inside his car along with lunch. Then we went to his office and left a big 3 & 0 balloon, a cake, and a cute Bannister. The boys had a lot of fun surprising there Dad. They were so happy when he called around lunch time to see what he thought about everything. He was a little embarrassed but happy we thought of him. The boys wanted me to take pictures so we could do a post about it.

Here is the car! I let the boys each do a window and then they signed there name.

Here are the cool balloons and my poor attempt to a made from scratch carrot cake.

We hope you had a good day Babe! We love you so much and are so grateful for all you do for us & how hard you work to give us all that we have. We could not ask for a better Dad/Husband. You are so great with the boys and they LOVE you so much, as do I. Have a wonderful day. Thanks for putting up with all of our craziness. I am so excited to hang out with you all weekend in Park City!!! No Work for 3 days WAHOOOO!

Stitches!!!

Well today it was Preston's turn for stitches! I guess only having 2 sets is not to bad with having 4 boys. But I am sure it is only the beginning with these crazy kids. Are day started out pretty normal when we decided to go to the mall with my brother. We went and picked him & the girls up and stopped at the bank. While waiting in line at the drive threw I asked Preston to raise the middle seat he was sitting on. He likes to lay it down and bug his brothers in the back. It did not have the head rest on. So as it came up really fast the little plastic nob that holds the head rest in hit Preston in the middle of his forehead. Instantly blood came gushing out. I proceed to call the doctor to say I was coming in. Dropped my brother & the girls, along with Ryan back at there house. Then we were off the Doctor's. We got there and he was not happy at all. He was so nervous about having to have a shot. I could not get it threw his head that he would not need one and would not feel the stitches going in. So 4 nurses, and 1 Doctor later he had 3 stitches. Once the doc started he realized it did not hurt and did really good. He is a trooper and I am very proud of him!!! We will see what happens when we go Monday and get them out!

This is in the car before stitches!

This is after the 3 stitches!

Family Favorite

My boys love "Monkey Bread". It is one of there favorite things. Preston has been asking me for months to make it. It is not hard to make I just keep forgetting to get the Rhodes Rolls at the store. So last time at Costco he reminded me to get the rolls, and this morning he reminded me to make them. I am glad the boys like them, because if I made them and they did not eat them then I would eat the whole pan.

You know they can't be that healthy if it takes that much butter!

Then they need to be cut into bite sizes and rolled into little balls!

Preston & Ryan love to make the balls!

Then you put them in your Bunted Pan and let them rise!

After they rise you cook them awhile and here is the finished project!

I forgot how YUMMMY these are!

Valentines Day

Once again a little late on the post. But I just wanted to tell my husband thanks for the flowers. I had to work all day Saturday so we did not do anything for V-day. While I was at work Korey brought the boys to my work to bring me flowers, a bracelet, a Coke, and a candy bar. It was very thoughtful of him. I was really surprised. Thanks for thinking of me. He even got my favorite flowers Lily's. I know they are for funerals but I love them. Also you can never go wrong with a Coke. By the time I got home I was so tired I sat on the couch and vegged out until the baby and I fell asleep. Which I am glad I fell asleep early because there has not been much sleep since. Poor Parker is feeling like crap. All he wants to do is to be held and loved. I hope he gets better soon. I am not a nice girl without my sleep. Hope everyone had a great weekend!!! I love you BaBe! Thank You:)

Harlem Globetrotters

For our Birthday's (Korey & I) my mother-in-law got our whole family tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters. It was so fun! They were way funny, and actually really good at basketball. We had awesome seats. There were even some of the Jazz players in the rows in front of us. The boys really enjoyed themselves and any excuse to hang out with there cousins they love even more. Thank you Kathy for getting us the tickets and coming and hanging out with us at the game we had a great night. I am glad the snow held out so we could make it!

This picture makes me laugh. It looks like the old man in the back is part of our group shot, but we have no idea who he is.

After the game the boys wanted to go to the top and see what it looked like so we hiked up all the stairs and went to the top. I was a little scared but what do you do when your boys want to go. I could never imagine getting seats up there how can you even watch the game.

It was a fun night. Thanks again!!!

Playhouse Disney Live

Better late then never. I lost my camera for awhile and have just now found it. I have been waiting to post about this until I could add pictures. So over a week ago I took Ryan & Parker to Playhouse Disney Live at the Energy "S" Center. My Brother and his family came with us too. On the way up to Salt Lake we stopped at the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. Man that place is so good!!! I can't wait until I can go back again. While at the show I had a lot of fun watching the boys have fun. Parker sat there and clapped along with all the songs and was way into it. He loved it when Mickey and his gang came out. Ryan was having a lot of fun too. But he was also just happy enjoying his treats. It was nice to hang out with just the little boys we should try to do some more activities with the boys on there own I think they really like having a little more attention for themselves. While we were there Korey took the older boys to Nickelkade. When we got home they were way excited about the prizes they had won with all there tickets. Overall it was a great day! Korey and I even managed to get to the Temple when we got home.

Chocolate Bliss Cheesecake

So I have been on this baking kick. I do not know what is wrong with me. I think all this cold weather and being stuck inside is getting to me. So a few weeks ago I made bread. I know to most not a big deal. But I did it all by myself not even with my bread maker.OK my Mom helped me a little. Then awhile later I made rolls from scratch(not Rhodes).I also made some lemon bars. I have even been making cookies. Not the kind you pull out of the box and bake. I have been trying to even make different fun things for dinner. I am tired of the same old things. To bad my kids are not into trying new stuff. I think I have lost it. But today I decided to make A chocolate cheesecake. YUMMMMY! I hope it taste as good as it looks. So if anyone has any fun ideas let me know.

Here is a picture of the cheesecake.

This is my new favorite dish. Beef Noodle bowl, also great with chicken.
