So I saw this on Brooks Blog and thought it would be fun to do. I do not really think of myself as a princess. So it was fun to see what they thought I was. You should all try it. It is very exciting!!!

Parker Eating!!!

I love how messy kids get when they are eating. They do not care how they look. They are just enjoying there food. I wish it was OK to eat like little kids. Plus they probably stay so thin because they lose half of it on the floor. That is not a bad diet, just drop half of it on the floor. Parker is also one reason why I miss my dog. I Sweep after every meal this kid is so messy. So I just wanted to put some cute pictures of Parker eating. Because he enjoys it so much. And he looks so cute doing it too.

LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!!!

My AMAZING 4 year old has once again surprised us. Korey has worked with him maybe two times. Then today they went over to the high school parking lot and Preston took off on his bike without any training wheels. I cannot believe that he can do it. He still has a little trouble with stopping but he knows how to fall without getting hurt. He also likes to just run into things to stop. Way to go son you are awesome!!!

Bridal Veil Falls

So today after church we decided to go up the canyon to the Bridal Veil Falls to try to get outside but not be in the heat. First I was shocked by how many people had the same idea we did. I swear all of Orem was there. But oh well we had fun anyway. My sister-in-law Delora came in town yesterday with 3 of her 5 kids to hang out for a few days. So they came up with us. The kids were so happy to play with there cousins. They love all their cousins so much. When ever they get a chance to play they take full advantage of the time they have together. They loved hiking around the falls and playing in the water. So Korey decided to take them up the middle of the water to where the water falls down. Even Preston went with them to the top. I wish he would of had the camera. But he got some cool shots on my phone.They thought they were so cool to be able to do that. It was fun to just get out for a while and play.

P.G. RODEO

We went to the P.G. Rodeo this past Thursday with my Dad. We try to go about every other year or so. It is a lot of of fun. My Dad goes right when the gates open and gets a spot right on the front row for us. This year we sent McKay and my Nephew Cameron out with my dad to help save a spot. It was nice Korey, I, and the boys showed up right when it started and got a great spot. Ryan was so excited about it. He sat and watched most of it. He was way in to it. He really loves animals and to see the cowboys on them he thought it was the greatest. Preston I think went for the treats. While McKay went because we all did. Parker thought every time people clapped it was for him, and loved that. I thought it was fun too. It is always fun to take the boys and see how they get excited about all the different things life has to offer.

Summer Fest

Every summer we go to the Orem Summer Fest. My Dad is a huge Parade buff. He goes to every parade in Utah county all summer long. It is my job to make sure we get the spot we have always gotten for the Orem parade. As long as we have known about the parade in Orem we have gone. We always sit right by Smiths. It is at the end of the parade, so it takes a while to get the parade to us. But right across the street from the fireworks. So awesome for that part. The trees have got a lot bigger so most of the time we have shade. It is close to the pottys. Close to the store for drinks. So just all around a great spot. This year I was crazy and laid our tarp out on Wednesday. Can you believe that! I was driving by and all these people were out doing it. So of course I had to join them in order to get my spot. It was nice this year not to have to drive. Korey was a sweet heart and dropped the boys and I with all our stuff off. Then took the car home and walked back. Then after it was all over we walked home. It was a fun time. The kids were very good about not getting to go on rides at the fair. They all got along great. My half brother Startton found a big piece of cardboard, and put it out in the street and started a big dance circle. While we were waiting for the fireworks to start. My sweet little Preston got out there in front of all these people and started to bust some moves. He even did the "WORM". He was so awesome. It was fun We cannot wait for the next parade.

Feeding The Ducks

Can I have some more bread! QUACK!!! QUACK!!!

A couple of days ago I decided to take the kids down to a little pond in Provo. There are a lot of ducks there o feed. I had my Niece Macy. McKay also had his friend Dylan with him. So we had a good crew of kids. We stopped off at the day old bread store and got each of us a bag of bread. Then headed down to the pond. It started out good they were all having so much fun running around acting crazy, chasing the ducks, there was even a little bit of feeding the ducks too. Ryan's favorite was feeding the huge Sucker Fish. He would get so excited about them coming up and getting the bread. One time he got a little to close and feel in. I have never seen that boy jump up so fast in his life. Needless to say he spent the last half of time with no shorts or underwear on. As you can tell by the pictures. We even found a nest with eggs in it. The kids got a big kick out of that. Parker enjoyed eating all the bread and watching the kids be crazy. He loves watching his big brothers and sucking in all information he can on how to be like them. We had a lot of fun. Macy, and Ryan keep asking when we can do it again.

Construction Zone

So we moved into our new home thinking of all the "construction" we wanted to do to the home to make it our own. Little did we know we would be moving into many construction zones. About 2 weeks ago they started to do things to Orem High. They are going to slowly tare it down and rebuild it because it is so old. So of course they are starting on the side we live on. Then I guess for about the last 6 months they have been building homes over in the cul-de-sac behind us. Yes and just at the beginning of the week they started to tare up the road in front of our home from one corner to the next. Needless to say it seems to be nosier then it usually is around are home. Oh and of course I forgot that ever summer the marching band practices in the parking lot and marches in front of are home (the boys love to run out and watch them go by). So The point of all of this is there is no sleeping in at our house we are up when the trucks start moving which is 6:45am. Wow!!! Way to get the days moving and started early. Hopefully it helps us get things done around here. The boys love all the trucks and sit and watch them work all day. Then when the workers leave the boys love to play in all the piles of sand and rocks that they leave on the side of the road. They tell me everyday that they hope they are working on the road all summer. So they can keep playing in the sand. Of course we are glad they are working on Orem High since we got all that free sod to fix the yard. So I guess I cannot complain to much.

This is the almost final look but we were short about 30sq. feet of grass. I even have a little spot for a garden on the left side. We also have to finish the chainlink around the back. Then just hope the grass grows in nice and weed free.

So my once again amazing husband took Monday off and worked himself to death on our yard. We had to get the sod in before it died. So he took a week long project and did it all in one day. He is so good to us. He did get a little help when it came to laying the sod about 8 guys from our ward showed up and helped him with that part. We did not even ask, they all just showed up on their own. This ward is awesome like that. They are always willing to help whoever. So next we have the chain link, and then the kids play area.

SOD

Last Saturday my amazing Husband was driving home from his job and saw a lot of people out getting free sod off of Orem High School. They are in the process of rebuilding it and were letting whoever wanted to take it before they tore it up. So knowing we wanted to buy some he decided to get it from there for free and save us about $800.00. We were able to get the Rutlands truck, and all day he went back and forth with 4 big truck loads of sod. He paid some old man there with a sod cutter to cut it for him. Then he did all the hard work of loading and unloading. It was really heavy too from all they rain we have had lately. Way to be so tuff honey. You Rock!!!
