This is a big year for my boys and I for many reasons! One McKay is in 6th grade tht is right it is not a typo he is the big man on campus 6th grade! I am so not old enough to have 6th grader nor is he old enough to be a 6th grader. Next year is Jr. High and man that scares me! Preston is in 1st grade and he is gone all day long. It is so crazy to have him gne for so long during the day. To me he is to little to be gone all that time! My little man Ryan is starting Kindergarten next week and then that means all I have left is Parker & before I know it he will be in Preschool. But for know it is Just Mommy and Parker time for a few hours a day! Which I am sure Parker is very happy about! So here are a few pictures from the morning of McKay and Preston's first day of school!
My Brother is a park ranger at Utah lake. He was able to hook us up with a great deal on a boat and some wave runners for my Mom's 70th Birthday. So we spent her Birthday at the lake having a great time in the water. I am so bummed I did not get any pictures of the kids on the tubes, or boat, or even the wave runners. They did have a great time on everything. The only one who had a hard time was Ryan he did not like anything, except are little blow up raft. He had a great time playing on that thing. I do have to say the highlight of the day was getting my Mother on the wave runner. She did great!!! I took her out for a little ride & no I did not dump her. My goal next time is to get her to drive one:) My kids even loved just jumping off the dock and playing in the water with there cousins! Happy Birthday Mom I hope you had a great day!
Haniging on the beach! Floating in the water! My boys jumping off the docks!
After we went to the Aero Space Museum we started to drive home and stopped at a park. My boys love the wooden park in P.G. It is so fun and has awesome things to play on. So we had a little picnic dinner. Then played until it got dark. I love when my boys get along and just enjoy being together. The boys faces are so funny! I could not get Parker to go on this swing I love my cute boys!
I made a bucket list at the beginning of the summer. I felt as if we started out pretty strong, doing a lot of fun activities. But as the summer went on rather speedy. I felt as if we were running out of time & were never going to get anything on the bucket list done. So a couple Saturdays ago Korey came home from work & I had the boys ready, the car loaded, and a picnic dinner ready to go. So we took a drive and went up to Hill Air force Base. We took the boys to the Aero Space Museum. It was really cool. I have not been there since I was in high school. Korey had never been. The boys loved it. They were only a little disappointed that they could not actually go into the planes. When we got inside there was a man that I think was a worker who attached himself to us. It was kind of cool he told us a lot of info about the planes that Korey and I had no clue about.
I am so sad by my little buddy turning 3. Life has gotten a lot easier as he has gotten bigger. But I miss the little baby stage. He is such a great kid. He has a huge attitude but he would not be Parker without. All he wanted for his Birthday was a "Joker House". We got him a Spider Man bike, and some little action figures to go along with his Batman castle. But Grandma Kathy won the best gift award for his Joker house. He had a great birthday with a lot of family there to celebrate with us. He kept changing his mind between Superman and Batman. In the end Batman won and he loved his cake. He was a little sad when we ate it, he loves to still look at the picture of the cake. Can you see a theme here with what Parker likes?
For my Brother Jason's birthday he had everybody over to his house for cake & fireworks. My kids always love it when we get to do fireworks at the house. Don't get me wrong they love the big ones too. But something about the family all together on the lawn and kids running around with sparklers that is just so fun. McKay was way excited because he got to help this year with the fireworks. I have admit I was a little nervous. But he loved it. He did not even complain when we got home that night and he realized he had burned his finger.
