Christmas Parade

Let me start this post with how awesome my Mother-in-Law & Sister-in-Law are. They have been doing this boot camp training thing since last spring & have lost a lot of weight and are in amazing shape. They have ran three 5k and my MIL has come in first place for her age division every time. It would be a miracle if I could even walk and finish a 5k let alone 1st place:) Every year Provo has a little Christmas Parade the weekend after Thanksgiving were they welcome Santa and pass out tons of candy. When I was little my Step-Mom worked for Provo City and would make us ride on a float with this crazy man that dressed like Ronald McDonald. But now we just get to take the boys ad enjoy the freezing cold weather & hope that they pass out good candy. This year before the parade they had a "Santa Run" and everyone dressed like Santa and ran a 5k. So we took the boys down to watch Grandma Kathy & Melissa run. By the time they finished the boys were freezing and wanted in the van to warm up. But once the Parade started and they saw candy flying they were out there having a great time with there cousins! I am glad we went the boys thought it was so neat that there Grandma is so tough!!!

Pepper

So the week of Thanksgiving(I now a long time ago)we got a dog. I know,I know,A few weeks before that I was wanting to get rid of every animal in our house. But my husbands has been wanting a dog ever since we got rid of Harley 2 years ago.I convinced him to get a little dog & we decided after some research that a Schnauzer was a good family dog & a good size & best of all did not shed. The bad part was they are a little pricey. But lucky for us the pound had one! He is not pure bread, but he is super cute, and a very good dog(most the time)!!! To think we got this cute dog for $50 and he is potty trained, fixed, sleeps all night in his crate. What more could you ask for. The boys love him & the only one he every gets bugged by is Parker. So I think that is pretty darn lucky.

He would not hold still for the camera so this is the best I could get:)

His only weakness are balls. If you leave one out you are in trouble:)

Temple Square

Last weekend we went with some of my family up to Temple Square. To bad we never found each other. But I am sure it is the thought that counts. But we still had a good time & as always we love going up there to see the lights & so we try hard to go every year. My boys love to ride the train(trax)as they call it. So we always try to eat somewhere that the trax runs by. Then we just leave the car there and ride the trax right by Temple Square. It was nice this year. The kids really enjoyed walking around the visitor center and looking at all the cool stuff. Parker loved all the "Christmas". Any kind of lights or Santa or Christmas type thing Parker calls "Christmas". It is very cute. The lights as always are very cool. I so would not want to be one of the workers that have to put up that stuff every year. I have a hard time putting them just outside of my house! If you get a chance I highly recommend taking the time to go up & check them out. As always well worth the great family time together!

Preston Turns 6

So my sweet little man Preston turned 6 years old! WOW, I cannot believe it. I know I say this with every kid, but I just cannot believe how fast time flies with little kids! I so remember when he was born as if it was yesterday! He was so tiny and looked just like a tiny old man! He was so cute! Oh how I love this kid!!! So for his Birthday we went bowling & then had family over for cake & ice cream. We had to celebrate it a few days early since his Birthday landed on a Wednesday, & Korey works late that night. Preston was just fine with that since it meant he got to open his gifts early. But that meant we still got to something fun on his actual Birthday. So me and the boys went to a movie and then dinner it was a lot of fun & they were very well behaved! I was so proud of them, they are all getting so big & fun to hang out with. Here are a few pictures to high light the birth of Preston & the fun ties we had on his Birthday!

Halloween Review

So at our house Halloween is not just one day of events it is a week full of fun things to do.So I will warn you that there are a lot of pictures to come so prepare yourself. About a 2 weeks before Halloween the boys wanted to pick out pumpkins so I took them to a house by there school that always has the best deals on her huge pumpkins.

Here they are sun & all trying to decide!

The Sunday before Halloween we all got together at my brothers house for FHE & dinner. After we ate we went out to his garage & carved pumpkins. It is getting a lot easier as the boys get older. They even helped getting the guts out this year!

Here are the boys with there finished pumpkins!

Cameron thought it would be funny to put a pumkin on his head!

So of course Preston had to copy him! Can you see him looking out of the eye?

So then a few days later we went with the Larsen's to Hee Haws! I have to admit I tryed to get out of it this year but once we got there we had a lot of fun & I am glad that we decided to go. The boys look forward to it every year & they always have so much fun with there cousins. Here are some picture showing all the fun things they did!

The tractor pull! Always a favorite with the little ones!

The hay ride with the whole gang!

The boys love the big slide but every picture I took I missed them. So I wont bore you all with pictures of just the slide! They also had a fun petting farm & my nephews rock and were catching the chickens & piglets. But my boys were a little freaked out by them! So yet again no pictures!

At the boys school they have a pumpkin contest every year & they are not aloud to carve them they have to decorate them. Preston was way excited to be able to do a pumpkin. Mckay was so inspired by his pumkin that he decided to be the same thing for halloween. Preston was way excited when he won the scariest pumpkin for his age group. They did a great job! Thanks Grandma Kathy for helping the boys with this.

Ryan had to get in on the action too!

Even though Parker has nothing on his pumpkin he picked this one out & he really wanted a picture with his pumpkin! He is so cute.

The boys then had a parade at school that they got to wear there costumes to school & then later that night they had a primary party. Then on Halloween day. We had the family over for dinner & then left to go tricker treating! We had a big group with us this year & it was so fun to watch all the kids running from house to house & how Parker caught on really fast about what to do at the door. Most people when they answered the door were in a little shock when they saw 20 kids at the door waiting for a treat. Thanks everyone for coming with us it sure made it a lot of fun!!!

The Parade!

The boys & there awesome costumes!

The group waiting to go! As we went we kept adding kids & our group got bigger & bigger. It was a lot of fun!
