Halloween Review

So at our house Halloween is not just one day of events it is a week full of fun things to do.So I will warn you that there are a lot of pictures to come so prepare yourself. About a 2 weeks before Halloween the boys wanted to pick out pumpkins so I took them to a house by there school that always has the best deals on her huge pumpkins.

Here they are sun & all trying to decide!

The Sunday before Halloween we all got together at my brothers house for FHE & dinner. After we ate we went out to his garage & carved pumpkins. It is getting a lot easier as the boys get older. They even helped getting the guts out this year!

Here are the boys with there finished pumpkins!

Cameron thought it would be funny to put a pumkin on his head!

So of course Preston had to copy him! Can you see him looking out of the eye?

So then a few days later we went with the Larsen's to Hee Haws! I have to admit I tryed to get out of it this year but once we got there we had a lot of fun & I am glad that we decided to go. The boys look forward to it every year & they always have so much fun with there cousins. Here are some picture showing all the fun things they did!

The tractor pull! Always a favorite with the little ones!

The hay ride with the whole gang!

The boys love the big slide but every picture I took I missed them. So I wont bore you all with pictures of just the slide! They also had a fun petting farm & my nephews rock and were catching the chickens & piglets. But my boys were a little freaked out by them! So yet again no pictures!

At the boys school they have a pumpkin contest every year & they are not aloud to carve them they have to decorate them. Preston was way excited to be able to do a pumpkin. Mckay was so inspired by his pumkin that he decided to be the same thing for halloween. Preston was way excited when he won the scariest pumpkin for his age group. They did a great job! Thanks Grandma Kathy for helping the boys with this.

Ryan had to get in on the action too!

Even though Parker has nothing on his pumpkin he picked this one out & he really wanted a picture with his pumpkin! He is so cute.

The boys then had a parade at school that they got to wear there costumes to school & then later that night they had a primary party. Then on Halloween day. We had the family over for dinner & then left to go tricker treating! We had a big group with us this year & it was so fun to watch all the kids running from house to house & how Parker caught on really fast about what to do at the door. Most people when they answered the door were in a little shock when they saw 20 kids at the door waiting for a treat. Thanks everyone for coming with us it sure made it a lot of fun!!!

The Parade!

The boys & there awesome costumes!

The group waiting to go! As we went we kept adding kids & our group got bigger & bigger. It was a lot of fun!

Family Pictures 2009

So we got family pictures last week. We were suppose to have them done a few weeks ago, but with all the sickness going around we had to wait until we all looked a little better. We had the same lady that took our pictures last year take them again this year. She was so great to fit us in at the last minute. I was being a little picky of were I wanted them and I wanted the colors too. Thanks so much Jessie we love them. We had them done at Korey's work. There were so many great places to get pictures it was a lot of fun & for the most part the boys were pretty good moods.

Fall

Back before the world stopped because I was sick for 2 weeks. We took the boys up to Cascade Springs to see all the amazing fall colors that Utah has to offer. We love going up every fall and walking around the little wooden trail. The boys love looking for fish and other wild life. This year I could not believe how into the colors the boys were. They were really excited about how bright and amazing the view was. They were also on a mission to see how many different colors of leaves they could find. While McKay was a searching for amazing leaves to make a project for school. We had a lot of fun & then of course on the way home we had to make a stop at Granny's for shakes and onion rings. Oh how I love the shakes there. They are always worth a trip to Heber.

Here are some that I took thinking I can take a great picture!

Here are some group shots! Oh I how I LOVE my boys!!!

Even with my crappy camera the view is still AMAZING!
