Baseball

We were lucky enough this year to have 2 baseball players in our house. I know I have never been a huge baseball fan, but I have to admit that it is really fun to watch your kids out there playing. We were very happy to have them on the same team. It meant only 2 games & 2 practices a week instead of 4. I guess that is one advantage about them being close. They were both superstars out on the field & seemed to have a good time. I hope they want to keep playing. I am so proud of you boys for sticking to it & playing so hard!!!

It is hard work!!!

Ryan's Program

At the end of Kindergarten Mrs. Adams class puts on a little performance. They sing a few songs & then do "The Little Red Hen". It is super cute!!! Ryan did a great job & we are very proud of him. I am surprised how well these little kids do with all these people watching them. I think between Ryan & my Niece Macy they had twenty family members there supporting them. Way to go Ryan you were fabulous! We are so proud of you!!!

Waiting for the show to start!

He did so awsome on his speaking part!!!

"Not I" Says the Duck

His sweet Brother's cheering him on!!!

Dance Festival

During the last week of School the kids did a Dance Festival over at the High School. They did a couple group numbers with the whole school then each grade had a few songs they sang & danced to alone. I love to watch kids do things like this. I think they are so fun. Plus I think my kids are amazing & were the star of the whole show! It makes it even better that I had 3 kids in it. Along with 3 nieces & 1 nephew. Yes our family has invaded Scera Park. Still to this day when the songs come on the radio the kids start to dance to the routine. Then when I start to dance they tell me all the things I am doing wrong. I am a little sad to think this is the last performance McKay will have as an Elementary kid.

Ryan's Party

Ryan wanted to have a friend party this year for his Birthday. I was more then happy to do it for him. He went with a water theme & we had a lot of fun coming up with ideas of things to do. So he had a shark pinata, bobbing for apples, water gun fight, water balloon launching, & a shark cake. We were very sad when the weather did not work out to be the best. But towards the end of the party the sun came out & the kids had a great time. He has got some awesome friends & they had a blast. Happy Birthday Buddy I hope you had a good time!!!

Ryan is 6!!!

My little man Ryan turned 6. It is crazy to think that he will be gone all day next year for school. He is growing up so fast & turning into a little man. He is a great brother & loves life to the fullest. He can always make us life with one of his crazy faces or funny jokes. He has the best laugh ever. Every time he laughs it feels the whole room & you cannot help but laugh right along with him. I sure loves this kid! Happy Birthday Ryan!!!

9 Years!!!

Korey & I made it 9 years!!! I could have not asked for a better guy. He is so amazing & I love him so much. He is so good to me! He is the best Daddy ever. Just like in the song the boys are "So happy when Daddy comes home!" Thank you Babe for putting up with me & loving me so very much. You always make me feel so beautiful & so loved. I hope you know I love you so much! Thank you for all you do so that I can stay home with the boys. For our anniversary we went out the weekend before and got our wedding rings cleaned and resized & then out to dinner. That was our gift to each other. But of course he is always so thoughtful and he came home from work with these beautiful flowers for me!

Praying Mantis

Back when we got the Ants we also got a Praying Mantis Egg. I never knew that was how they came. So after having the egg sit in a cup for about a month the egg finally hatched. It had over a hundred little tiny Praying Mantis come out of it. We let most of them go around our yard. Then we released some around the neighborhood. I hope they survived because we have had some cold nights since then. We tired to keep some in but they only lasted a couple days & then they died.

This is the egg!

They look just like they do when they are adults, but just super, super tiny!

This is a butterfly pavilion. But we kept them in it instead!

Easter Hunt

Our sweet friend Kim, who happens to be my Sister-In-Laws Step Mom, also known as Grammy, Kimmy, or just all around awesome lady. Always throws an amazing Easter Egg Hunt the Saturday before Easter. We never have to go to some crazy city one with the other thousands of people that show up to those. My boys know that there will be plenty of stuff at hers. They so look forward to it. We are so thankful to her for putting all this work into it & inviting my boys to come. They have so much fun. Thanks Kim!!!
