Idaho Babies

*SIDE NOTE, BLOGGER DRIVES ME CRAZY!!! I HAD THIS POST ALL TYPED, PICTURES, EVERYTHING & I PUSHED PUBLISH POST & IT WAS GONE!!! SO HERE I GO AGAIN.*

I have decided I am officially OLD! My Nieces & Nephews are getting married & having babies. I swear they are still little kids. When did they grow up? Alright I really only have 2 Nieces that have gotten married & have babies. But I am pretty sure my Nephew will be married anytime! So my Niece Aurora got married a couple years ago & has a sweet little boy Seth & then she had cute little twin boys Jacob,& Kaleb just before Christmas. That is right she has 3 boys under 2. Heaven Help Her!!! My other Niece Stormy just had a beautiful little girl Eris a few weeks before the twins. They all live in Idaho. So one weekend I loaded the boys & my Mom and we went up to meet the 3 new babies. I love me some good baby time. It was so fun to visit with family & hold little babies. I am so proud of what great Mom's these girls are & how sweet there little families are. The boys had a great time hanging out with cousins & getting to miss school. Parker was so sweet with the twins. He was always concerned when they would cry, or if both of them were not where he could see them. He even asked Aurora if we could take one home! He loved getting his picture taken with them too. He would have me take it with my phone so we could send the pictures to Korey.

Christmas Morning

Christmas Morning is always crazy with 4 little boys, but oh so fun!!! The boys had a great Christmas & were very happy with all the loot they got. It was not to bad this year the boys did not get up until a little after 6 & Parker would not even get out of bed. When the boys could not wait any longer we let them go and look what Santa brought & open the stockings. Then we had them take Parker's Santa gift to him to see if that would help get him out of bed. The trick worked but then he wanted to sit in his room and play with his "Walking Iron Man". That is all he wanted anyway. I do not know why we got him other things. After the crazy unwrapping event. We headed over to Grandma Kathy's for more gifts & a yummy breakfast. Then later we came home & just hung out for the rest of the day while the boys played with all there new toys! Here are a few highlights from the day!

The boys waiting to go down the hall to see what Santa left!

The boys were so good about keeping this gift a secret from Korey. It was a huge box & they were very excited to give it to him. It is the Star Trek Seen It Game.

Bring on the gifts

Even Pepper got some fun gifts!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is a big deal on my side of the family. My Mom always has a big dinner and lots of things planned for the evening. This year she decided to have it at the church. At first as was a little sad it did not seem very home like & would be big and loud. But I have to admit that it was great. She decorated it very cute & it was so nice the kids had room to play. We are growing so big that it is hard to fit into any ones house. She always has us a do a program where we sing songs & have Christmas stories. Then we play a fun gift exchange & the kids get to open there Christmas Jammie's. This year I decided to be creative and make the boys Jammie's. Alright it was not my best idea. They did turn out cute but I am sure they cost way more then what I could have bought them for & they ended up being huge. Parker has not even worn his since then because they just fell off. Plus they did not have Super Hero's on them. I took the extra material & made them pillow cases. I also made them blankets. Grandma Kathy made them fleece blankets when they were born & that is all they would sleep in at night. But they are so big now that there toes would stick out. The ones I made are double fleece & huge. The boys love them & they are so nice and warm! After my Mom's party we came home put out reindeer food, cookies for the big guy, took a few pictures & it was off to bed for the boys.

Christmas Cookies

My Sister is the best & every year she makes a million cookies & then has my whole crazy family come over & decorate them. The kids look so forward to it. As I do too, it is so nice to not have to deal with the crazy mess it makes. Plus it helps that she makes the best sugar cookies. Then when we get home the boys pick out one cookie each & put it on a plate to save Santa! Thanks Kathy for doing this every year!!!

Sledding

Over Christmas break we went sledding a few times. I did remember the camera one time & snapped a few fun pictures of the boys & their cousins. We like this little hill close to our house. It is big enough to have fun but small enough that the little boys can climb up by themselves & the big boys can try out the snowboards! As fun as this was I am so ready for the snow to go away!!!

Choir Concert

At the kids school the 5th & 6th graders have a choir. "The Scera Park Singers". I went to school for 5th & 6th grade at Scera Park too & I was in it as well. Funny thing is, that the teacher is still the same teachers as when I was there. Crazy how things work. Well this year for the Christmas concert. McKay & his best friend Evan got to the narrators for the evening! I was so proud of my son!!! He did great:) Sad to think that next year he will be in Jr. High. I am glad he is getting to do so many fun things for his 6th grade year. So here are a few pictures from the evening. I think my favorite song is "Pablo the Reindeer".
