I took the 3 younger boys down to the Provo River with my Brother & his Daughter & Nephew to go on a little Christmas Boat ride. We had done the Halloween one a couple years back & the kids got a big kick out of it. So we wanted to try out the Christmas one. Well once again the boys loved it. I on the other hand thought it was yet again a little cheesy. You know they could make it totally awesome if they were to put some effort into it. Oh well it was fun to hang out with boys & they had a good time. Which I guess is all that matters. Plus we got to see Santa & get a candy cane!!!

We love to make Ginger Bread Houses & so every year we do so. I think it each year it gets a lot more fun. 1-The boys can make them themselves. 2-I love to see how creative they are. 3-I love how they come up with new ideas each year. 4-I love that they love being together & being with me!!!

So a few weeks ago Preston asked me to go and talk to one of the 2nd grade teachers about an instrument he wanted to play for an up coming performance. I told him he was crazy & that he should talk to her if he wanted a certain one. Well he never did. He told me the week before that he was so mad because he only had a small part in the song. I kept trying to tell him that every part was important and that I was sure that his part was going to the best part of the whole song. Well come to find out his part was really small. He maybe played for ten seconds out of the whole song. But I think that was the best ten seconds ever!!! Way to go Preston!!! Blury close up picture! His 10 seconds of fame! The 2nd grade at Scera Park!
Parker's preschool class had a little Christmas concert. It was so fun!!! I love that he is coming out of his shell. He has a couple of little buddies in class & during the performance they were trying to see who could sing the loudest. LOL!!! I loved it. He use to be so shy there was no way he would have done this before. I am so grateful that my kids have such good friends. I think that makes such a huge difference in life. I am so grateful for Parker's Preschool Teacher she has helped him so much.
Parker & his two friends Ty & Ryan The whole class Parker being a cute crazy little boy
We took the boys down to the Riverwoods shopping center to meet there cousins & to see the lights. I have never been before & I have to say that it was really cool. They do a great job with the lights & decorations.Plus it was free! We even went & saw Santa & he was way nicer then the one at the mall. They also had a free carriage ride. The line for that was a little crazy, but it was fun none the less. They have a really fun toy store there too. It has a lot of vintage type toys. It was a little busy so I will have to take the boys another time & wonder the store.
McKay of course was to cool for Santa. But the other 3 loved it!!! We almost did not all fit The kids thought this blue tree was really cool. They also found out that if you spin around really fast & stare up at the blue tree it makes you extra dizzy!!!
I am so proud of my little man that he decided to get Baptized. It was a great day filled with lots of love & family. Thanks for everyone that came & helped make Preston's day so special.
We had a really fun Ward party this year. They had lots of fun things planned. But I think the thing the boys were the most excited about was to see Santa. Santa even brought he misses this year. My favorite part was the Hay Ride. This year Parker was really looking forward to seeing Santa. He really caught on to the whole "Christmas" thing. McKay was not amused that I made him get into the picture with Santa. But to bad that is why I am the Mom. I sure love my boys & think they are so cute!!!
Crazy to think that Preston is 8. We just hung out as a family on his actual Birthday. Korey was sick & Preston was having a friend party the next day. Then the next week was his Baptism & the whole family was coming to that. Later that night we drove out to Spanish Fork to see the Christmas lights. We drove around it 3 times. You would think after going this many years they would be sick of it. But no ever year they ask to go. I am so glad they do because I still love it too! I am so proud of Preston for all the good things he does & for how smart & talented he is. We love you Preston & I hope you had a great Birthday!!! The next day Preston had a party with some of his Buddies from school. We took them to Nickel City to play games, lazer tag, & eat pizza. I think it was the greatest idea ever. The boys had a blast, were feed, got prizes, and I had to do nothing. I think this is the way I am doing parties from now on.
Before we had my huge family pictures taken we had just ours taken. We took them at the State Hospital & I like to think they turned out really cute!!! Thanks Amy for making look so good:)
