Korey Is The Best!!!
So Yesterday during the "Souper Saturday" a sweet Sister in my Ward came up to me and asked if I could come in to Young Women's with a few other Sisters and talk about Marriage and the things to do to prepare for marriage. All right I thought sounds easy enough. Later that night she called and gave me some questions she would be asking. She told me to think about what to say. OK sounding a little more difficult. Then left a message this morning asking if I would bring a picture of our wedding day. So anyone who knows me, knows I am not one who likes to do public speaking. I have also always said I do not want to be a leader in YW's. Way to much emotion with all those girls. Must be why I have all boys. So today was a perfect example of why I do not want to do these things. I was feeling OK until the 2nd lady started to talk and I started to get way to emotional. Now how in the world I am I suppose to keep it together when everyone is already emotional. Let alone talk about how much I love my husband and how we got to where we are today. How he is just the most amazing person I know.(Once again getting emotional). Also how he is such awesome Father and friend. I am not one who can do these things. But it is over and I am sure I am a better person for doing this. But I do have to give my sweet husband props, because he is the best ever. Thank You honey for all do for me. I love you!!!

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
We here at the Larsen House are very grateful to our sweet friend Misty!!! I know it is only the 1st of October but I was getting a little bit nervous about finding Preston's costume. I took the boys out last night to go and get there costumes. We had Ryan's on hold at Old Navy (A.F. store of course). So that was not hard to get. Preston knew what he wanted and he was very specific about what he wanted. So I thought that it should have not been to hard. It was only the 1st of the month. Then there was McKay who had no idea. Well we went to 5 stores and no such luck. Everyone had the costume Preston wanted but not the right size. UGHHHHH! McKay would choose something and we would open it up and he would hate it. UGHHHHH! So after a few hours we had no costumes and a very upset 4 year old. Then this morning I started calling stores for Preston's costume and of course no one had the size. I was starting to think they did not make it that size. I even got on line. No not in his size. While I was at Target there was one their but of course to big. Well I bought it anyway in hopes I could make it fit. About an hour after we got home Misty called and said the Halloween store that we went to last night had one his size. She put it on hold for us and we ran over there as soon as we were done eating. Then of course we a had to run to Target and return the one I bought earlier. While we were there McKay tried on a few more and YES finally he decided on one. Whoopee. So we are set I am so glad. I have way to much going on later this month and that is just one less thing I have to worry about. Thank You so much Misty it fits perfectly!!! He is so happy. The whole time at the store he just kept saying how happy he was that Misty got it for him!

Soccer
We have once again started the soccer season. Good times!!! This year has been fun McKay & Preston both play. It is kind of nice they play at the same time on the same day. So Korey and I switch at half time and than each of us can watch both the boys play. McKay's team is really good this year, and they are really fun to watch. It is nice that they know what they are doing. They are even winning most of there games. McKay is actually trying this year. Unlike in the past when he is mostly there just to be social. I asked him if this was his last year and if he wanted to try something new. He informed me he LOVES soccer and wants to keep playing. Preston's team is fun to watch but for different reasons. They are so little and funny all following the ball in a group. Sweet Preston has made 2 goals so far. To bad they were for the opposing team. Go Boys!!!

Oh My!
So We got a kitten about a year ago. I was feeling bad that I had gotten rid of the dog. One day I was on KSL and there was a kitten for 5 bucks so I went and got it. She is very cute. But she is so scared I think the little boy that she lived with first was not nice. Then to come to my house with 4 boys did not help. Needless to say she does not interact much with the boys. The only time she gets by any of them is Preston when he is sleeping. No matter when, or where he is asleep she finds him and cuddles with him. Very cute. This is cookie! Not wanting her picture taken.

This is Sugar. We got her a few weeks after we bought our new house. She is a crazy cat. She loves to sleep on the bed with Korey and I. She sits and watches us get ready for bed. Then when we are all settled she jumps up and finds her spot to cuddle. She also loves to play with Cookie(who does not like to play with her).

So The other night the boys and I where on my bed watching Dirty Jobs(awesome show). It is one of our favorite things to do when Korey is working late. When we heard a funny sound under the bed. It did not sound like either of the cats. So I grabbed the flash light and started to look for the sound. When under my bed I found 2 kittens. What I am I suppose to do with them? I guess we have learned our lesson and get our cats fixed before this happens again! The crazy thing is we did not even know that either of them were pregnant. I had no idea which one even had the kittens. Needless to say we were just a little surprised. They are way cute. The boys just love looking at them and kissing them. I hope Cookie does not mind. I just wish she would keep them in the box. But she is a little stubborn and keeps moving them under Ryan's bed. Oh well what do you do. Anyone wants a kitten in about 6 weeks we will have 2 ready for good homes!!!

An Amazing Family
Almost a month ago I was reading blogs(of course), it seemed like so many people I knew where talking about this couple. They were in a plane crash and now in a burn unit in Arizona with burns on 80% her body, 30% of his body. So I started reading her blog nieniedialogues. She is amazing Mom. She just always wrote so positive on motherhood and always saw such beauty in everything. Wow, I should be more like that. So I have been keeping track of all of this on her sisters blog cjanerun. She is just like her sister so positive. They are a great family! If you are in the mood for some good laughs, good tears. I highly recommend checking out both of there blogs. There are also a lot of different auctions going on to help raise money for there very long recovery. Check out Design Mom and help this amazing family out. They said in one of the articles I read that her blog is getting over 30,000 hits a day. Wow! So it is OK they will never know that you are stalking them too. It will defiantly make you want to be better Mom, and Wife.
P.S. Here is a story that was in the New York Times a few days ago.
P.S.S. The Family was on the Today show check out there interview.

Preschool
Wahooo!! Today was the first day of preschool for both Ryan and Preston. Wow what a wonderful 2 hours it was. Alright in another two years it will be amazing. Then it will actually be two hours twice a week totally kid free. But for now I will take the time with just having one child. Preston is going to be in Ryan's class until October than he will go different days. They also have Macy and I found out when I dropped them off that Korey's cousins little boy Wyatt is also in the class. So I think it will work out good. Preston gets to go on Fridays for his kindergarten prep class. He likes to think he is there so Ryan and Macy are not scared but I think he likes having them there too. He is not one to be alone. I hope the rest of the year goes as easy as today went.

Ryan's 1st Stitches
So with four boys you would think that this would have happened a long time ago. But yesterday we had are first set of stitches. My sweet little Ryan was the the first one to get them(except for Korey, But that is a whole post of its own). I was at work and Korey took the 3 older boys to see a movie. During the previews I guess he fell and hit his chin on the sit in front of him. Korey did not even know it was bleeding until the movie was over. He sent me a text picture of it and I showed the Dr. at my work and she suggested for him to come in. 5 stitches later he was on his way. This poor kid has had a bad couple of weeks. He had a wart froze off his finger. He had celulitis in his leg which he had to go to the ER for a really big shot. He went to the dentist for a cleaning and had 2 cavities that he got fixed right there no drugs. Than this happened too. He is such a trooper and is so brave. Good job Ryan!! We hope it gets better for you.
Ryan after the 5 stiches!

The cut before the stiches!

P.S. Thanks Molly for keeping Parker for so long. The Dr. is a lot easier without that crazy kid!!
