Halloween Cruise

We tried a new thing this year for a fun Halloween treat! We took the boys on a Halloween Cruise. The boys thought it was great. Being outside in the dark was just about as SPOOKY as they could handle so the boat ride it self was just added fun! We as adults thought it was a little cheesy, but hey we would have never known if we had not tried it out!

This is evryone waiting for our turn on the cruise!

Fishing With The Boys

My Uncle Mike came down to hang out and visit for a few weeks and we took full advantage of him bringing his boat along with him and got a few fun little fishing trips in. One afternoon we went down to Utah Lake and hung out & visited with him for a few hours. The boys were happy just fishing off the docks and throwing rocks at the ducks. The next week I checked the boys out early and we meet my parents and Uncle at Strawberry Lake. We went for a really fun ride around parts of the lake and had a great dinner. But the boys favorite part was catching Crawdads off the docks. Last year my Nephew found a cage to catch them in, so we took that along as well. But I think the boys are just as happy using a raw chicken leg on the end of a string. I even go them to hold the creepy things for a few seconds, but that all ended when one of them pinched Ryan on one of his fingers. Poor kid! It was a lot of fun to get visit with My Uncle. By the time I was born my Mom's family had moved so I never got to get to know my cousins as well as my older siblings have. So I always jump at the chance to get to hang out and visit with them!!! Thanks again Uncle Mike the boys loved it. They really think you are awesome & have already asked when you are coming back to visit again!

Park Time

The Boys love to go to the "Wooden Park" in P.G. They always have so much fun there! No matter how often we go there they always want to go back! We got my nephew to come with us this time and it added to the fun they had.

$2 Tuesday

For a last little hooray. My Brother and SIL and I took the younger kids to the animal farm at Thanksgiving Point. The month of August they always do $2 Tuesdays. It is always super busy and crazy. But we decided to take a chance and do it anyways. The kids had a great time feeding all the animals and petting them. They were a little sad when they did not get to the pony ride, but the line was over an hour and there is no way I am waiting an hour in line. So instead we did the carriage ride. I hope to get a season pass there in the next couple of months my kids love the museums and gardens. It was fun to watch my Niece Alice. We put some animal food on the tray on her stroller and the animals would lick it off. She was not to sure about it, but we got a good laugh from it!

First day of Kindergarten

Today was my little man Ryan's first day of Kindergarten! I love that he was so excited about school. He has always been an early riser and was up and dressed before his brothers. He was a little disappointed when they left this morning and he did not get to go. He is in the afternoon class with all his buddies & then he gets to walk home with all the big kids in our neighborhood! It is so funny to me how different each of my boys are. Preston took almost the whole year of Kindergarten to go without being upset. Today I had to ask Ryan for a hug! Oh well I love them all just the way the are. Parker does not know what to do with me all to himself for 3 hours everyday. But I am sure we will have fun!

1st Day of School 2010

This is a big year for my boys and I for many reasons! One McKay is in 6th grade tht is right it is not a typo he is the big man on campus 6th grade! I am so not old enough to have 6th grader nor is he old enough to be a 6th grader. Next year is Jr. High and man that scares me! Preston is in 1st grade and he is gone all day long. It is so crazy to have him gne for so long during the day. To me he is to little to be gone all that time! My little man Ryan is starting Kindergarten next week and then that means all I have left is Parker & before I know it he will be in Preschool. But for know it is Just Mommy and Parker time for a few hours a day! Which I am sure Parker is very happy about! So here are a few pictures from the morning of McKay and Preston's first day of school!

Utah Lake

My Brother is a park ranger at Utah lake. He was able to hook us up with a great deal on a boat and some wave runners for my Mom's 70th Birthday. So we spent her Birthday at the lake having a great time in the water. I am so bummed I did not get any pictures of the kids on the tubes, or boat, or even the wave runners. They did have a great time on everything. The only one who had a hard time was Ryan he did not like anything, except are little blow up raft. He had a great time playing on that thing. I do have to say the highlight of the day was getting my Mother on the wave runner. She did great!!! I took her out for a little ride & no I did not dump her. My goal next time is to get her to drive one:) My kids even loved just jumping off the dock and playing in the water with there cousins! Happy Birthday Mom I hope you had a great day!
