Family Pictures 2009

So we got family pictures last week. We were suppose to have them done a few weeks ago, but with all the sickness going around we had to wait until we all looked a little better. We had the same lady that took our pictures last year take them again this year. She was so great to fit us in at the last minute. I was being a little picky of were I wanted them and I wanted the colors too. Thanks so much Jessie we love them. We had them done at Korey's work. There were so many great places to get pictures it was a lot of fun & for the most part the boys were pretty good moods.

Fall

Back before the world stopped because I was sick for 2 weeks. We took the boys up to Cascade Springs to see all the amazing fall colors that Utah has to offer. We love going up every fall and walking around the little wooden trail. The boys love looking for fish and other wild life. This year I could not believe how into the colors the boys were. They were really excited about how bright and amazing the view was. They were also on a mission to see how many different colors of leaves they could find. While McKay was a searching for amazing leaves to make a project for school. We had a lot of fun & then of course on the way home we had to make a stop at Granny's for shakes and onion rings. Oh how I love the shakes there. They are always worth a trip to Heber.

Here are some that I took thinking I can take a great picture!

Here are some group shots! Oh I how I LOVE my boys!!!

Even with my crappy camera the view is still AMAZING!

SOCCER

It is so nice to not have a soccer anymore! As fun as it is to go and watch the boys play. It is a lot of work getting 3 of them to practice and games every week. It also does not help that the last few games it has been freezing and by the time we are done it is dark. I always feel bad that I do not get more pictures during the season, but I get so into the games I forget to take pictures so I only have one of each of the boys. This year was fun for Preston & Ryan they are on the same team along with there cousin Macy and they had two awesome coaches. Korey & Macy's dad Jason. They did an awesome job as coaches and made it so fun for the kids to play. McKay had his same coach that he has had for a while now and he too is so great. I really like watching them play they are getting really good and it is fun to watch since they all know what they are doing. Lets hope that this spring will be a lot nicer than it was last year. Until then I am going to enjoy not having any sports for my boys.

And This Little Pig Went To The Dr.

So I have been down and out since Wednesday night. With all my symptoms and how crappy I felt/feel. I am pretty darn sure that I had/have the S____ FLU! I am sorry to everyone I had any contact with before or during this event. I hope that none of you have to go threw this. It has not been the funniest week. I am finally starting to feel little better today, but to make things worse my sweet boys are starting to show the same signs. It looks like the fun is just beginning at our house. I am glad that I decided to keep them all home from school today just in case & it looks like they will not be going this week. Thank goodness they will only be missing a few days because of the up coming break. So today I took Preston into the Doctor today and he has double ear infection and it is taking all my energy to just take care of him. He is for sure my most high maintenance child. Good thing he is so dang cute:) The others are just having to deal with being lazy and watching a lot TV. So wish us all luck that this will go away very fast and that we will be up to are fun filled times again!!! I pray for a healthy winter to all of you!

Scera Park Carnival

Scera Park had thier annual Fall Carnival about a week ago. While there Preston & Ryan got face paintings & I just had to post how cool they looked with it done. I think I am done doing the school carnival I have done it for the past 4 years and it takes a lot of time and is a lot of hard work. McKay is trying to guilt me into doing it again, since next year is his last year at Scera Park. So far it is not working! But I am sure by the time it comes around next year I will cave and do it again. How can I say no when it is so fun to see how much fun all the kids are having.

Preston
I love Ryan's Tiger mask!

# 22

My little brothers (half brother) wife just had a baby. Including my boys that makes her Grandchild #22. Wow I cannot believe that I have that many Nieces & Nephews. Another crazy little fact my Niece Aurora has a baby older than my new Niece. So that right there tells you how far spaced out me and my siblings are. But I just wanted to give a shout out of CONGRATS to Stratton & Anna on there new little bundle of joy. She is so cute! I cannot wait to come over and hold her. Here are her stats:
Adeline Shay Allen
Born October 1st
At 6:19 p.m.
7 lbs. 2 oz.
19.5 inches long

Utah State Fair

I am a dork, but I have to admit I love going to the Fair. I love to see how excited the boys get about the animals. I love seeing all the weird people that come out to these things. I love to see what new things they let people put in and consider it a talent and judge them on it. I really think the sculpture made out of butter is really cool. I like looking at as many booths as my husband and kids will let me. I guess I just like the fair. So of course this year we went & it was a lot of fun. We tried to go after school one day and it was raining like crazy. So later that week we checked McKay out early and did not send the other two boys to school. We stopped and grabbed lunch on the way, and when we got there it was empty. It was so nice not to fight crowds and to actually be able to see the things we wanted to see. It is crazy how excited my kids get about seeing a goat, or a cow. Are they really that much of "city boys" that they think it is a novelty to see a cow. Ryan went as far as to ask some man sitting by the cows if he could pet his cow. It was very cute! They loved seeing the animals.

The boys like the fishing pond they have set up ever year too. It always amazes me how fast you can get a fish on your hook at this thing. McKay this year even caught a catfish. The boys thought it was way cool looking. Parker's fish got off the hook and was flapping around on the ground & he wanted to pick it up and pet it.

This year at the fair they had some fun shows to watch. They had a shark show, a bear show, and a gator show. The only complaint is that they were not very long. But the boys enjoyed watching the people interact with the animals. I only took pictures of the gator show because it had to have been the best one.

We told the boy at the beginning of the summer that if they did not ask to go on rides at the summer fest, strawberry days, or the fair that we would take them to lagoon. So we had no plans of doing rides while at the fair. But Grandma Kathy give the boys some money to do this jumping thing and Preston and McKay thought it was way fun and got way high. Preston even did some flips while in the air. The little boys took there money and decided to do a pony ride instead. Ryan thought he was so cool that he could do it with no hands. While Parker just kept saying "look Momma I am a cowboy!" It was a great way to end the carnival.

1st Day of Preschool

So a few weeks ago Ryan started preschool. Lets just say he LOVES it. He is going with his cousin Macy to the BYU preschool. Everyday he wakes up and asks if it is preschool day. Days that he does not have it he is so sad. It makes me happy that he is so happy. It makes it worth how much it cost just to see him loving it. It is also wonderful because he goes 4 days a week and is in the afternoon just like Preston with Kindergarten. So on the way home Parker falls asleep and I have about 2 hours before they start coming home from school. You would think that this time would be used for actually doing something productive, but yet most days it is used to take a nap and I so do not feel guilty about it.

Boating

About a week ago my brother got a hold of a boat and invited the boys and I out on the lake. So we jumped at the chance. Sadly Korey could not get out of work and I had to take the boys by myself. I was a little nervous but I am so glad we went. The boys had a blast. At first Ryan was a little nervous and just wanted to go back to the shore to feed the ducks. But not my McKay & Preston, they are rock stars and went out on the tube with no fear. They first went out together and then they each wanted to try it alone. It was a small tube and defiantly worked better alone. When Preston was out there he is so little and was just holding on and flying every where it was so funny to watch, he would just keep doing thumbs up to go faster and faster. We were laughing so hard because he is such a nut and a dare devil. McKay was a little more on the safer side at first but once he got a hang of it he was a champ too. I tried to take Parker on it and the dang thing is just not meant for two people and we kept almost tipping so are ride lasted about 10 seconds, then he was done. Ryan did not want to even touch the tube. But after awhile he did warm up and started jumping into the "big pool" as he would like to call it. We had a great time the only thing that could have made it better was if Korey was there. Thanks Jason for taking us out the boys loved it!
The boys enjoying a ride!

Jason and his girls! Not sure if Alice is loving it or not?

Taking our turns on the tube!

Swimming in the crystal clear waters of Utah Lake:)

Parker gave in and let the rocking boat put him to sleep!
