Somedays
Do you ever have those days? You know the ones where you are going to go crazy because how much of a challenge a certain child is? Well that would be mine the other day. Ryan has had a loose tooth for a while now & the other day at swim lesson he got poked in the mouth & it became very loose. To say the least he was very, very upset. He was screaming at the Rec Center & throwing the biggest fit. We get home & he was still upset for the whole night. He could not eat because his mouth hurt. He would not let us look at it, let alone touch it. We even bribed him. Major bribes to try to let us wiggle it, or just even touch it. At one point I even pinned him down & we were trying to open his mouth. No such luck! We sent him to bed & prayed that he would not chock on it in his sleep. Next morning same thing. He was not going to have anything to do with us touching his loose tooth. I was worried the whole day that he was going to be a beast at school. Or that it might fall out & he would freak out at school. Well when I went to pick him up he informed me that he had a great day & was in a great mood the whole time. Shortly after getting home he was eating a donut & the tooth feel out. It just feel out! He was pleasantly surprised by how it did not hurt. Gee theres a shocker Ryan!!! Not that we did not try to tell you that a hundred times the whole night before!!! Then he informed me that he wanted his reward that we had offered him the night before. Yea right!!! I don't think so buddy!!! I am a mean Mom & told him no. Personally after the fit he threw he should be lucky that the tooth fairy even brings him something. Good thing we love our children so much. Plus he is super cute & he melts my heart. So I can not stay mad for to long.

That's awesome. Hopefully he'll be a little more calm when the next one comes loose or it could be a long year or two waiting for them all to fall out! :)
