Valentines Day

Once again a little late on the post. But I just wanted to tell my husband thanks for the flowers. I had to work all day Saturday so we did not do anything for V-day. While I was at work Korey brought the boys to my work to bring me flowers, a bracelet, a Coke, and a candy bar. It was very thoughtful of him. I was really surprised. Thanks for thinking of me. He even got my favorite flowers Lily's. I know they are for funerals but I love them. Also you can never go wrong with a Coke. By the time I got home I was so tired I sat on the couch and vegged out until the baby and I fell asleep. Which I am glad I fell asleep early because there has not been much sleep since. Poor Parker is feeling like crap. All he wants to do is to be held and loved. I hope he gets better soon. I am not a nice girl without my sleep. Hope everyone had a great weekend!!! I love you BaBe! Thank You:)

Harlem Globetrotters

For our Birthday's (Korey & I) my mother-in-law got our whole family tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters. It was so fun! They were way funny, and actually really good at basketball. We had awesome seats. There were even some of the Jazz players in the rows in front of us. The boys really enjoyed themselves and any excuse to hang out with there cousins they love even more. Thank you Kathy for getting us the tickets and coming and hanging out with us at the game we had a great night. I am glad the snow held out so we could make it!

This picture makes me laugh. It looks like the old man in the back is part of our group shot, but we have no idea who he is.

After the game the boys wanted to go to the top and see what it looked like so we hiked up all the stairs and went to the top. I was a little scared but what do you do when your boys want to go. I could never imagine getting seats up there how can you even watch the game.

It was a fun night. Thanks again!!!

Playhouse Disney Live

Better late then never. I lost my camera for awhile and have just now found it. I have been waiting to post about this until I could add pictures. So over a week ago I took Ryan & Parker to Playhouse Disney Live at the Energy "S" Center. My Brother and his family came with us too. On the way up to Salt Lake we stopped at the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. Man that place is so good!!! I can't wait until I can go back again. While at the show I had a lot of fun watching the boys have fun. Parker sat there and clapped along with all the songs and was way into it. He loved it when Mickey and his gang came out. Ryan was having a lot of fun too. But he was also just happy enjoying his treats. It was nice to hang out with just the little boys we should try to do some more activities with the boys on there own I think they really like having a little more attention for themselves. While we were there Korey took the older boys to Nickelkade. When we got home they were way excited about the prizes they had won with all there tickets. Overall it was a great day! Korey and I even managed to get to the Temple when we got home.

Chocolate Bliss Cheesecake

So I have been on this baking kick. I do not know what is wrong with me. I think all this cold weather and being stuck inside is getting to me. So a few weeks ago I made bread. I know to most not a big deal. But I did it all by myself not even with my bread maker.OK my Mom helped me a little. Then awhile later I made rolls from scratch(not Rhodes).I also made some lemon bars. I have even been making cookies. Not the kind you pull out of the box and bake. I have been trying to even make different fun things for dinner. I am tired of the same old things. To bad my kids are not into trying new stuff. I think I have lost it. But today I decided to make A chocolate cheesecake. YUMMMMY! I hope it taste as good as it looks. So if anyone has any fun ideas let me know.

Here is a picture of the cheesecake.

This is my new favorite dish. Beef Noodle bowl, also great with chicken.

POOR KID

So yet once again this week I have upset another child. I guess it started a couple of years ago with McKay. But he is pretty bugged at me right now. His poor teeth are so jacked up. Two summers ago he had to have his tonsils & addnoids(?spelling)out. Because it made him breath weird at night which could mess up his teeth more. Then awhile later he had six teeth pulled to make room for all his other teeth trying to come in. Then about six months ago he had a retainer type thing put on his bottom teeth. Then three months ago he got this spacer thing put in the roof of his mouth that we had to crank twice a day to help make his pallet bigger so that there was room for all his teeth to come in. They also told him that he had to wear head gear at night to help his over bite. Which is a nightly fight. Heaven help us!!! Then yesterday I think was the straw that broke the camels back. Because he had to get braces on,on top of all the other crap he currently has in his mouth. Man my mouth hurts just talking about all that stuff. He did only have to get them on his four front teeth but it sure is making his mouth hurt. He is having a hard time eating and sleeping. I hope the pain will end soon. I keep trying to tell him I did all of this because I love him & that some day he will thank me when he looks hot for all the girls. He would not let me take a picture of him. So I just had to throw up this one of him because I think he looks so cute. I hope one day he does realize this is in his best interest. I love you McKay!!!

Bad Mommy?

So I am not sure if I am a bad mom or not. But today I do have to say I felt a little guilty. Parker had his 18 month well child visit today. I thought I would save me a trip to the Dr. and get Preston's 5 year shots done at the same time. He does not have the best track record for being the best patient. So I had to get Korey to come and meet us to help hold him down. All morning I full on lied to the poor kid. He would ask me "Now just Parker is getting shots, no one else right?" I would answer "Yes, Parker has to get a shot today." So we get there and do Parker's whole check up. He is healthy and growing at his normal slow rate. The only bad part is he is not a sleeper so it sounds like we are going to have a few rough nights of letting him cry it out, until he learns to sleep on his own. Wish us luck. But we get Parker's shot while Korey starts to tell Preston that he is going to have to get shots. All heck breaks loose and he is punching Korey in the face and freaking out like crazy. It took 2 nurses so they could tag team him. But we got it done and no more shots until he is 12. Or next winter for the flu shot! I felt so bad we stopped at W*lm*rt on the way home and he got to pick out a movie so he could come home and lay on the couch until his legs feel better. He said after I got the movie for him that he still loved me even though I was mean today!

A New Best Friend

Parker has a new best friend. They are pretty attached for just having met 12 hours ago! He found this stuffed Spider Man last night and has not left him alone. He took him to bed with him. Spidey even got into my bed at 1:30 this morning when Parker decided to join us. Then when Parker woke up he took Spidey to go and sit on the couch with him while he had his morning sippy of juice and watched his daily dose of Mickey Mouse Club House! Thank goodness Preston is being a nice big brother and letting Parker play with it.

So Cute!

Parker is so funny. The other day I was being lazy and decided I did not want to do much. The boys were out in the living room watching a Spider Man marathon, which I decided I did not want to watch. I took the paper and went and got on my bed to read it. Well my little man decided to come join me. He got up on my bed and even got under the covers all by himself. Grabbed a part of the paper and just sat there and looked through it for the longest time. Any time he saw something cool he would hit me, then say "mama mama", and point to a picture. What a big kid!

New Tradition!

We went up to the Hogle Zoo last night to the "Zoo Lights". It was actually really cool. The kids loved all the animated lights. We have been trying to go since they opened around Thanksgiving time. But life has been a little busy. So we finally got there the last night it was open. Not all the animals were out and not the whole Zoo was opened but what was, was really neat. We think this might have to be a fun New Years Eve tradition!

This is Korey's favorite part at the zoo. When we go in the summer it is so hard to find him. But he was right there by the fence. The boys thought he was so cool!

Here the boys are on the Carousel. While we were unloading the kids out of the car a lady gave us two punch cards. Little did we know each card had ten punches on them. It is $2 a ride on that thing. Thank you whoever you are for giving us the punch cards. So the boys each went twice then we gave the card to another family that was in line to buy there tickets for the Carousel.

Hope everyone has a great 2009! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

CHRISTMAS MORNING!

Here are a few fun picture's from Christmas morning! Figured it was better late then never. We had 2. One at our house, then at Grandma Kathy's! Santa brought the whole family an Air Hockey Table. Little did we know that he was going to set it up and then it not fit down the stairs. But it is getting well used in the middle of my living room. The boys loved every minute and are already thinking about what they want next year! I hope everyone had a great Christmas!
