Feeding Ducks
A while back on one of those random warm days. I took advantage of the sun and took the kids down to Provo to feed the ducks. They love going down there. We had some fake popcorn stuff that we took with us and then we stopped by the day old bread store to get some bread. The ducks were not that into the popcorn, but there are these sucker fish down there and they were going crazy for the stuff. They were almost jumping out of the water to get it. But of coarse the ducks loved the bread. I am also happy to say that this time we did not have any children falling into the pond. Good Job Ryan!!! I need to get better about taking the kids out and about to do stuff. I feel like it has been a very long winter and we cannot wait to get to the pool and soak up all the sun we can get.
McKay's Birthday!
So as I posted a while back it was McKay's birthday. I have been having some pictures problems and have been waiting to post about his party until I could figure out how to get pictures on this blasted computer. So on his birthday we were suppose to go to Kangaroo Zoo and have a few of his friends and the family meet us there to have a little fun. Well Preston and I ended up with the stomach flu that day and we had to postponed his party until Saturday. On his birthday we did sing to him and let him open all of our presents and some of us even had cake and ice cream.

So we did finally get together at Kangaroo Zoo. I think it worked out a little better to wait. More of the Family was able to come on Saturday. The boys had so much fun there. They could have stayed all day if we would have let them. But I do think 3 hours there was long enough. Even Parker got in on the action he was climbing up all the big slides and going down all on his own. I swear that kid thinks he is 5. They would not let us bring in outside food. So after we were done we went outside on the grass and sang to McKay and all had cupcakes. Then we had to get McKay and his friends home because they had another party later that day.

Dinosaur Park
So a couple of weeks ago when the weather was nice we took the boys up to Ogden's Dinosaur Park. Korey's brother Shane gave us a gift card big enough to cover whole family for Christmas. I have never been up there and I do have to say that it was really cool. The boys absolutely loved it. The weather was perfect and the boys were in great moods. They love anything that we get to do with there cousins. The park had so many big Dinosaur's and there was a trail you walked around and found the different dinosaurs then at the end they had a really fun play ground. Korey's Mom came up with us along with Korey's brother and his family. We stopped on the way up and grabbed some lunch and then after we got back into town we let McKay pick where to go since it was almost his birthday. So of course he picked Sizzler his most favorite place. This kid could out eat anyone one when it comes to steak and then still have room for ice cream and brownies. It was a lot of fun and I hope we get back up there again sometime. Thanks guys for the great Christmas present!!! We had so much fun!

Where does time go?
10 years ago March 23rd this sweet little bundle of joy came to be with me!!! Wow I cannot believe that he is already 10. I swear he is still this little boy. But he is not! He is such a great kid and so loving and kind. He does have his moments don't get me wrong. But more times then not he is perfect. He is awesome big brother who has his hands very full with 3 little boys looking up to him, and trying to be just like him. Preston always says his favorite day is Sunday because McKay does not have to go to school or get to play with friends. So he gets him all to himself all day long. McKay would deny it but I really think he enjoys being with them too. Every Saturday morning I wake up to them all in McKay's bed cuddling playing the PSP. At night when they are getting ready for bed they turn on the music and dance around the house together. I hope there bond just gets stronger and stronger. I know McKay will always stick up for his brothers. What a great blessing to have this sweet boy be mine! I love you McKay.

This is when he was 1 year old. He is so handsome:)

This is one of my favorite pictures from our wedding! Look how much he loves his Mom! He is 3 years old.

Such A Pain!!!
So our laptop died a few weeks ago. Korey went out and bought a new computer. But even though our laptop was slow and would have problems all the time! I miss it!!! I cannot find the program to download to our new computer so I can download fun pictures and actually update my BLOG. I have had issues after issues with the dang ward bulletin that I have to do on Sundays. All my soccer stuff was saved on there and all my craft sign ups were saved on there. All my pictures are on there too!!! I do have to say it is a very nice computer and Korey even set up the printer that I bought Thanksgiving of 2007. So don't get me wrong I like it, but man I miss all my stuff on the laptop and knowing how to do everything on the laptop. Sorry to vent I will update when I can get my pictures downloaded!!!

X-Country Skiing (ALMOST)
Last Friday night our ward had an Elders Quorum date night. They activity was to go up to Aspen Grove to go X-Country skiing at night! It sounded pretty cool so we decided to go. Misty and Barry decided to come along with us. We took our little KIA Rio. The weather was not the greatest that day. But we decided to dress warm and go anyways. We all meet at the church and then carpooled up the canyon. As we turned off the main road to head up to Aspen Grove it was snowing really hard and the roads were way icy. We barley made it to Sundance and decided the roads were to bad and to turn around and the group of us would just get ice cream some where. As we were headed down to the main road our car started to slide and slide and slide some more until we ended on the side of the road having one tire hanging off the edge of a cliff and the other front tire being way to close to going off the edge. I do not know what stopped us. But I am so glad we stopped. If we would have gone over we would have landed in the river and most likely gone upside down. It was pretty crazy! As we got out we called to get a tow truck. Cars kept trying to stop and help but as they slowed down there car would start to slide. One car came really close to hitting us as it was sliding. A Sundance truck came down to help and they were even sliding in 4 wheel drive. The Highway Patrol came to help us and they had to walk up the road to find us because even there car would not make it up. So to make a long story short we stood on the side of the road for 2 hours in the freezing snow storm. Trying no to get hit by sliding cars. Until a tow truck could make it to us. He then pulled us back on the road and we drove home. What a fun way to spend a date night! I hope the Walkers will forgive us for trying to kill them. Maybe they will trust us one day again and we can go out on a real date!!! Thanks Babe for being a good driver and not taking us all the way over the edge.
The 4 of us trying to make light of the whole situation!!!

This is the side that was still on solid ground

This is not the best picture but it was way dark and snowing so you do what you can! This is the side over the edge!

Worth The Fight
I took all 4 boys (by myself) for their 6 month dental checkup. It is such a battle twice a day to brush all of their teeth. But I am happy to say that it was worth the fight. None of them have cavities! WAHOOOO!!! It was not to bad. They were all good except for PRESTON. That boy is so tough when it comes to things like this. He is just so flipping strong and stubborn. I know he must have got the stubborn thing from his Dad. But after fighting and threatening he did comply with my wishes and sat and let them clean his teeth. I think next time it is Korey's turn to take them.

The Big "30"
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Korey!!!
So today is my sweet husbands 30th birthday! He is a little upset about the whole thing. I personally could no be happier. I am OK with being older then him. But it was a little hard having him be in his twenties while I was thirty one.
On Wednesday's he works from 8am-10pm. At two different jobs. So we do not see him all day. Being the workaholic that he is he still worked today even though it is his B-Day. The boys and I felt bad that he was working all day. So we wanted him to know that we were thinking of him. We decided to go after music time to decorate his car and office. We put 30 big balloons inside his car along with lunch. Then we went to his office and left a big 3 & 0 balloon, a cake, and a cute Bannister. The boys had a lot of fun surprising there Dad. They were so happy when he called around lunch time to see what he thought about everything. He was a little embarrassed but happy we thought of him. The boys wanted me to take pictures so we could do a post about it.
Here is the car! I let the boys each do a window and then they signed there name.

Here are the cool balloons and my poor attempt to a made from scratch carrot cake.

We hope you had a good day Babe! We love you so much and are so grateful for all you do for us & how hard you work to give us all that we have. We could not ask for a better Dad/Husband. You are so great with the boys and they LOVE you so much, as do I. Have a wonderful day. Thanks for putting up with all of our craziness. I am so excited to hang out with you all weekend in Park City!!! No Work for 3 days WAHOOOO!

Stitches!!!
Well today it was Preston's turn for stitches! I guess only having 2 sets is not to bad with having 4 boys. But I am sure it is only the beginning with these crazy kids. Are day started out pretty normal when we decided to go to the mall with my brother. We went and picked him & the girls up and stopped at the bank. While waiting in line at the drive threw I asked Preston to raise the middle seat he was sitting on. He likes to lay it down and bug his brothers in the back. It did not have the head rest on. So as it came up really fast the little plastic nob that holds the head rest in hit Preston in the middle of his forehead. Instantly blood came gushing out. I proceed to call the doctor to say I was coming in. Dropped my brother & the girls, along with Ryan back at there house. Then we were off the Doctor's. We got there and he was not happy at all. He was so nervous about having to have a shot. I could not get it threw his head that he would not need one and would not feel the stitches going in. So 4 nurses, and 1 Doctor later he had 3 stitches. Once the doc started he realized it did not hurt and did really good. He is a trooper and I am very proud of him!!! We will see what happens when we go Monday and get them out!

This is after the 3 stitches!

Family Favorite
My boys love "Monkey Bread". It is one of there favorite things. Preston has been asking me for months to make it. It is not hard to make I just keep forgetting to get the Rhodes Rolls at the store. So last time at Costco he reminded me to get the rolls, and this morning he reminded me to make them. I am glad the boys like them, because if I made them and they did not eat them then I would eat the whole pan.
You know they can't be that healthy if it takes that much butter!

Then they need to be cut into bite sizes and rolled into little balls!

Preston & Ryan love to make the balls!

Then you put them in your Bunted Pan and let them rise!

After they rise you cook them awhile and here is the finished project!

I forgot how YUMMMY these are!
